Columbus, OH, January 25. The office of Representative for the 18th US Congressional District of Ohio, currently held by Zack Space, will be on the ballot in November. “We want to bring out all of the candidates — including incumbent Zack Space — so that the people can make an informed decision,” says Jason Mihalick, Ohio Liberty Council Board Member. “We are finding more and more every day that folks want to be involved in the political process and they want to know more about who they’re voting for and why. These meetings will give everyone a prime opportunity to learn about the candidates they’ll be seeing on the ballot in early May, what their values are, and what those candidates plan to do if they’re elected.”
There are four candidate nights in the 18th district. There is no charge for the events, and the public is invited to attend. The first event is on March 6th at the Mount Vernon Nazarene University Chapel in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Other events will follow March thru May in the communities of Chillicothe, Zanesville, and Dover. Registered candidates vying for the 18th US Congressional District seat from all parties will be invited to participate. See Candidate Night Logistics for additional information.
Mr. Mihalick is eager to get the information out, and is currently working with the group to develop a definitive voter guide for distribution to the public. He encourages folks to visit The Ohio Liberty Council’s website for these events at http://www.Ohio18.com. This website will provide readers with information about the events, absentee voting, and candidate information.
Ohio Liberty Council’s grassroots organizations in the Ohio District 18 are pleased to showcase all of the candidates running for what’s promising to become a very exciting race. “It is important that the voters are able to determine the best candidate for themselves,” Juanita Hockingberry said, “for only an educated population can assure honest representation.” “These meetings will empower the voters,” Mihalick interjected, “and give them a voice, and give them answers to their questions, so that at the ballot box they can make the best decision when it comes time to cast their votes in early May.”

This year I will be the Libertarian candidate for State Representative in Ohio House District 17, the southeast portions of Cuyahoga County.
I would be happy to participate in any events which you have planned for my area or adjacent areas where other Libertarians are running for local, state or federal offices.
The website above is from my 2008 campaign. My new website, for my current campaign, will be http://www.mackoforliberty.com. Check weekly so that you can see it shortly after it comes up.
For life and liberty,
David Macko
